Abstract

Unitooth osteotomy is used mostly for dilacerated teeth and those that have been impacted into the alveolar bone following trauma. It can be also used occasionally when more than one tooth requires this repositioning, but it is usually limited to
movements of upper anterior teeth.
In the preoperative assessment, it is mandatory to ensure that there is adequate interradicualr bone between the adjacent teeth.
@ES We present following three cases of unitooth osteotomy with good results:
@EN 1. Correction of anterior diastema
2. Repositioning of palatally erupted incisor
3. Uprighting of lower second molar
